Within the Urk fish industry, innovation and automation are in full swing. For example, our member VCU Robotics recently developed a new depalletizer: an automated solution for handling and moving boxes within production environments.
The installation was realized in cooperation with Urk Seafood members Urk-Export and Norwegian Seafood Group, where the depalletizer is used within the production processes.
With such technological developments, the Urk seafood industry continues to invest in efficient, modern and future-proof processing techniques.
