A special visit for our member, VCU Robotics. On Wednesday, September 30, Queen Máxima will visit Urk. Part of her itinerary includes a visit to VCU Robotics, where she will learn about innovative applications for the fishing industry.
VCU Robotics develops robotics and automated solutions for the fish processing industry, among others. During her visit, Queen Máxima will be shown various machines developed by VCU Robotics.
The visit underscores the important role that innovation and technology play in Urk’s fishing industry. In addition to its rich tradition of fishing and fish processing, Urk is actively working on new techniques and solutions for the future.
