Urk Seafood member Sea Fresh has purchased additional land on the Stortemelk, creating space for expansion of its premises. The purchased lot, which previously housed several company boxes, has now been cleared for further development.
Due to the company’s growth, available space at the current location was limited in recent times. To keep the logistics running, Sea Fresh used external refrigerated space outside Urk. With the expansion at its own location, the company aims to improve this situation and further optimize its processes.
The plans include additional space for storage and order processing. Construction work is scheduled to begin later this year. With this expansion, Sea Fresh is taking another step in the further development of the company.
