Our member Norwegian Seafood Group has also been nominated for the title Enterprise of the Year in Urk. A great recognition for the company, whose headquarters and processing facilities are located in Urk.
The election, organized by Bedrijvenkring Urk, focuses on companies that demonstrably implement responsible entrepreneurship, with attention to people, the environment and profitability. The jury also assesses recent business development, innovation within the sector, contribution to employment in Urk and the financial health of the company.
Norwegian Seafood Group has developed in recent years into an internationally operating seafood organization, with Urk as its important home base. From this local anchoring, further growth and sustainable value creation within the global seafood chain is being worked on.
The award ceremony will take place in March. Urk Seafood congratulates Norwegian Seafood Group on this nomination and wishes the team the best of luck in their further review.
