Our member Dayseaday continues to work on the expansion of Dayseaday Production in Urk. With the expansion, the family business is responding to the growing demand for salmon products and additional processing capacity within the seafood sector.
At the Vliestroom site, the existing salmon factory will be expanded with additional production space, offices and storage facilities. This will significantly increase the capacity of the modern production site. Dayseaday is also investing in further automation, logistical optimization and efficient processing of salmon products.
The expansion is part of broader growth plans of the company, which in recent years has focused heavily on further professionalization of processing, storage and international trade. From Urk, Dayseaday supplies fresh and frozen fish products to customers at home and abroad.
With this development, Dayseaday again underscores Urk’s important position as an international center for fish processing and seafood trade.
