Visscher Seafood Group announces the establishment of a new sales office in Asia to further develop the growing market for its salmon products there.
Rutger, recently appointed Director of Business Development, will lead the growth of VAP (Value-Added Products) sales in Asia for Visscher Seafood Group. He told, “I am very grateful for the trust placed in me to develop VAP sales to Asia within this influential organization. I look forward to working with the team to support our customers in this promising region.” With two master’s degrees from VU Amsterdam and a background in the aviation sector, Rutger brings with him an extensive network and deep expertise in Asian seafood supply chains.
In addition, Yumei Xie will hold the position of sales representative in China. Xie, a graduate of The Hague University of Applied Sciences, has significant experience in exporting fresh goods from Europe to China, making her well equipped to support the company’s growth in this important region. Both Rutger and Xie will be based in Asia to ensure the best possible service for Visscher Seafood Group’s customers.
