URK – At last night’s BKU meeting, Ocean Company was named Enterprise of the Year, selected from more than 250 member businesses in Urk.
The founders, Albert and Willem, founded Ocean Company eight years ago with a focus on sustainability by upgrading waste streams in the seafood industry. Since then, the company has grown steadily and now employs more than 45 people.
“We are proud of our team for making this achievement possible,” said a spokesperson for Ocean Company. “In addition, we would like to thank our partners for their cooperation and opportunities to upgrade residual streams.”
Ocean Company looks forward to the future and new milestones for the company.
