The Van Veen family from Urk has brought the fourth generation on board to continue Diepvries Urk. This allowed the company’s current owners, Riekelt and Carlien, to realize their dream of preserving the company’s heritage and continuing the family tradition.
Diepvries Urk is a family business that has been around for more than 35 years. The company specializes in the production and further processing of fish and food products. Over the years, the company has proven to be a reliable partner for the fish and food industry.
The fourth generation, consisting of Hendrik, Pieter and Cees van Veen, will divide their responsibilities among themselves. Hendrik will assume day-to-day management, along with the management team, and will focus primarily on the sale of Diepvries Urk’s services.
Cees and Pieter will remain in their current positions. The fourth generation has many new ideas for the company, including increasing production, improving product quality and creating more storage space.
