For Maarten Dijkhuizen, wholesale commercial manager at Sea Fresh, it was a real learning experience when he visited his seafood supplier in Turkey. ,,We learned a lot about the farming process of sea bass and sea bream and the experience was so exciting. Sea Fresh B.V. gets fresh supply from Turkey five days a week and, if required, Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certification is also possible.”

Visscher Seafood took an entire team to the Isle of Skye. The largest island in Scotland’s Inner Hebrides is home to Kames Fish Farming, a family-owned fish farm that supplies Visscher with trout. ,,Always fun to welcome our customers, even on a cold, wet day on Skye!
