The College of Mayor and Aldermen paid a company visit to Vanderlee Seafish. This is in celebration of the company’s 50th anniversary this year.
Father and founder Teun van der Lee and son Willem van der Lee took us through a presentation on the company’s genesis. Founded in 1973 and grown from filleting company to leading fish supplier in Europe. With a range of more than 100 products, 100 permanent employees and 2400 m2 of cold storage capacity, Vanderlee Seafish is a renowned fish company in the international market.
The visit concluded with a tour of the impressive company at Schulpengat 2. Here the diversity and the capabilities in this of Vanderlee Seafish became readily apparent.
