Kramers’ Seafood introduces Seafusion: hybrid seafood for the hospitality industry

Our member Kramers’ Seafood is responding to the growing demand for sustainable and innovative seafood products with the introduction of Seafusion. This new product line combines high-quality fish with plant-based ingredients, without compromising on taste, texture or nutritional value.

With Seafusion, Kramers’ Seafood aims to contribute to the protein transition and reduce pressure on vulnerable fish stocks. The line has two variants:

  • Bold & Colorful: products in which vegetables and fish visibly come together, such as a salmon-broccoli burger.
  • Perfectly Blended: products in which plant protein and fish are fully integrated and indistinguishable from 100% fish products.

The products are suitable for a variety of catering concepts, from restaurants and corporate catering to school meals, and were recently presented at the Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona. There, Seafusion was positively received by chefs, buyers and distribution partners.

Kramers’ Seafood is continuing to work on pilots and new flavor variants in the coming months, with the goal of supporting the hospitality industry in offering responsible and flavorful dishes.
