Live Seafood BV originated from the desire of the Keuter brothers of the UK 146 and the ZK 38 to start selling their own fish. The Keuter brothers have a wealth of experience in crab and eel fishing.

Within Live Seafood, fisherwoman Anja Keuter is the point of contact for all customers. She coordinates the sale of mainly North Sea crab, woolhand crab and eel from a professional fishing company in Urk. Woolhand crab, North Sea crab and eel can be delivered directly from the cutter.

Live Seafood strives to get the catch to consumers as fresh as possible. Consequently, many of the crab species are shipped directly from the cutter to various customers. As a result, the crab is ready for packaging and shipping to restaurants, for example, within hours of being caught.

A living system has been developed at the property on the Riepel in Urk, allowing the crab to be kept alive in salt water. As a result, Live Seafood offers even more continuity in selling North Sea crab.
