On December 20, 2024, Lub (66) and his brother Klaas Kramer (65) transferred their shares to Hein and Gertine (son and daughter of klaas) and Hein (son of Lub), respectively. This puts the family business, which has been headed by the Kramer brothers since 1993, fully in the hands of the third generation.<\/p><\/div>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>From filleting to innovation<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-ca03b81\" data-block-id=\"ca03b81\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\"><br\/>Since its founding, Kramers&#8217; Seafood has grown into an international player with a wide range of products and markets. Where the company once started with flatfish filleting, the focus today is on innovative and demand-oriented production. Thanks to investments in modern technology, such as a 20-meter LOVET air fryer, Kramers&#8217; Seafood now produces pre-fried, breaded products with 70% less fat and all-natural flavor retention.  <\/p><\/div>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-2715b37\" data-block-id=\"2715b37\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Hein Kramer (general manager):  <em>&#8220;Our transition from a traditional filleting company to a leading supplier of customized products was essential to remain future-proof. We are focusing on foodservice and product innovation, while complementing our North Sea fish business with global sourcing.&#8221; <\/em><\/p><\/div>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Growth strategy and technology<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-0bc4acd\" data-block-id=\"0bc4acd\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\"><br\/>The new generation is betting heavily on automation, robotization and digitization. According to Hein Kramer, this approach offers opportunities to make production processes more efficient and reliable, with more focus on data-driven control.
